This is the homepage of The Northern Stars Observatory. The observatory is located in fairly dark skies in the western part of the island of Funen in Denmark. The observatory houses an equatorial mounted 14" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on a permanent concrete pier. This telescope is mainly used for visual observations and imaging of the planets. For deepsky imaging a Vixen R200SS 8" Newtonian reflector is mounted in the observatory.
